Terms of Service
Last updated: September 1, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of the OptionFlow Shopify app, website, and related services. By installing or using OptionFlow, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
OptionFlow provides tools for Shopify merchants to create and manage product options, option sets, product assignments, conditional behavior, storefront option fields, design settings, and related functionality. Features may vary by plan and may change as the service evolves.
2. Shopify account and eligibility
You must have a valid Shopify store and the authority to install and manage apps for that store. You are responsible for your Shopify account, staff permissions, store configuration, and all activity performed through your account.
3. Plans, trials, and billing
OptionFlow may offer Free, Pro, Business, monthly, annual, trial, or other plans as displayed through Shopify. Paid subscriptions, approvals, invoices, upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, and applicable charges are handled through Shopify App Pricing or another Shopify-approved billing mechanism. Pricing and plan features shown by Shopify at the time of selection control the merchant billing relationship.
4. Merchant responsibilities
- Use OptionFlow only for lawful store and commerce activities.
- Ensure product-option labels, prices, uploads, content, and instructions shown to shoppers are accurate and lawful.
- Obtain any notices or consents required for information you choose to collect from shoppers through product-option fields.
- Test option sets, additional charges, theme placement, and storefront behavior before making them available to customers.
- Maintain appropriate backups or records of business-critical store information.
5. Acceptable use
You may not misuse OptionFlow, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, bypass plan restrictions, introduce malicious code, use the service to violate another person’s rights, or use OptionFlow in a way that violates Shopify’s terms, applicable law, or platform policies.
6. Storefront and shopper content
Merchants control the content, option labels, choices, uploads, product information, and other materials configured through their stores. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of shopper-submitted content and product customization information complies with your own privacy policy and applicable law.
7. Intellectual property
OptionFlow and its software, branding, design, documentation, and service materials are owned by or licensed to OptionFlow and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your Shopify store while your access remains active.
8. Third-party services
OptionFlow depends on Shopify and may depend on hosting, infrastructure, email, and other third-party providers. Your use of Shopify and third-party services is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for outages, changes, restrictions, or acts of third-party platforms outside our reasonable control.
9. Availability and changes
We may maintain, modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, platform compatibility, legal compliance, performance, or product development. We aim to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
10. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, OptionFlow is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that every configuration will be suitable for every theme, product, checkout, market, or business requirement. Merchants are responsible for testing their storefront setup before relying on it in production.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, OptionFlow will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of or inability to use the service. Any liability that cannot legally be excluded will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using OptionFlow or uninstall the app at any time, subject to Shopify billing rules for active subscriptions. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, non-payment, violation of these terms, or protection of the service and other users.
13. Privacy
Our handling of information is described in the OptionFlow Privacy Policy.
14. Merchant data processing
For personal data that OptionFlow processes on a merchant's behalf, the merchant acts as the business or controller and instructs OptionFlow to act as its service provider or processor solely to provide the enabled OptionFlow features. Those instructions include processing the minimum Shopify order and line-item information required for merchant-facing option analytics, if that feature is enabled.
OptionFlow will not sell that personal data, use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for an unrelated purpose. We apply the confidentiality, security, retention, deletion, and privacy-request practices described in the OptionFlow Privacy Policy. Merchants remain responsible for providing any notices, establishing a lawful basis, and responding to customers where applicable to their stores.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of OptionFlow after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
